Finding Serial Numbers

Recent Accraply Labeling Systems manufactured since the early 1980's will have an affixed tag engraved with the Model, Serial Number and other information, similar to (Figure 1). The Serial Number will be a 4-digit number beginning with a 1, 2 or 3:

Older Accraply Labeling Systems manufactured prior to about 1980 may not contain an engraved tag. On these older systems, the Serial Number may be engraved directly into one of two different positions.

  • On the discharge end of the aluminum conveyor side plates as indicated in (Figure 2). Painting of the equipment since original manufacture may cover this area in rare instances. The Serial Number will be a 4-digit number beginning with a 1, 2 or 3.
  • The Serial Number may be engraved directly into the base plate of the Applicator Head(s) as shown in (Figure 3). The Serial Number will be a 4-digit number beginning with a 1 or 2, with a possible hyphen after the fourth digit separating another one or two additional digits following.
