RFID-Enabled Upgrades:

RFID compliance does not always require a new label head.

Gen 2 RFID Upgrade Kits are available to add RFID compatibility to your existing Accraply printer/applicator or Accraply labeling head and at a much lower cost. RFID upgrade kits are available for any degree of sophistication for read, read/write, verification and eject applications. Middleware is capable of integration with your existing production or warehouse tracking systems. Kits can be field installed by our qualified technicians. Registration and Performance Improvements:

Upgrades of Obsolete Applicator Electronics and Applicator Drive Systems
Available upgrades of clutch/brake drive label applicators offer extremely accurate labeling and reliable operation in the most demanding continuous duty applications.  The unique Accraply Microstep Indexing Drives provide extremely accurate label registration performance and eliminate the normal maintenance associated with conventional clutch and brake type applicator drives.  The Microstep Applicator is easy to setup, operate, and maintain which maximizes production and minimizes downtime.

Upgrades to the new Accraply Microstep Indexing Drives are easily installed in your facility by Accraply's factory service technicians in a matter of a few days.  Available products include:

• 750 Watt Speed Following S-Series; with or without Variable Speed Conveyor Option

• 750 Watt Speed Command S-Series

• 325 Watt Speed Command E-Series

• Applicator Controls Upgrades: 35S Series and 35E Series

Label Sensing Upgrades
The label sensor determines stop position of each label's dispense cycle.   Replacement of obsolete label sensors are available, as are sensors to improve labeling performance and to allow the use of clear-film labels without the need to have pre-printed registration marks.  Available upgrades include:

• Capacitive Clear Film Label Sensor for non-contact sensing of clear film and paper labels at very high speeds.

• Mechanical Clear Film Label Sensor for contact sensing of clear film and paper labels at an economical price.

• Self-Teaching Photoelectric Label Sensor for replacement of obsolete label sensors with the additional ease-of-use feature of automatic press-to-set sensitivity adjustments.

• Fiber Optic Photoelectric Label Sensor for replacement of obsolete label sensors with the requirement to use fiber optics. Can also be used to provide peeler plate mounted sensing to sense the first-staged label's position.

Print Engine Upgrades
Accraply offers print engine upgrades for print and apply labelers manufactured by Avery Dennison, CCL, and Accraply. These upgrades offer the latest in thermal transfer printing technology; are an easy way to add new capabilities or improve printing performance; and depending on the application, provide lower consumables costs through ribbon savings and the use of smaller inter-label gaps.
